Omni will help you plant trees – without breaking a sweat!

In partnership with One Tree Planted, the Omni Tech Team will plant trees for every single project that we handle for you, large or small.  In fact, an average-sized project will put several hundred saplings into the ground.  Donations can be made either in your name or, if you prefer, anonymously.  Ask us for details on how you can make a difference without breaking a sweat.

We looked at a number of organizations and we felt that One Tree Planted corresponds best to our own objectives and philosophy. Also, the growth of their programs is exponential and in 2021, in spite of the worldwide Covid pandemic, they planted over 23 million trees.

One-tree-planted is not only active in Africa, Latin America, Asia and the Pacific, but also right here in the USA – with forest fire recovery in California and Oregon, as well as large scale efforts to restore Appalachia to its former glory, and in Florida to undo the ravages of unhealthy forests that suffer from disastrous wildfires and unprecedented outbreaks of southern pine beetles.

Join the Omni Tech Team in planting more trees on private and public land – in our own backyard – from coast to coast!

A FEW BENEFITS OF PLANTING TREES…

There are a lot of benefits of planting trees, including the following:

TREES SUPPORT LOCAL ECONOMIES
Trees create jobs for many thousands of people all over the world.

TREES ABSORB HARMFUL CARBON DIOXIDE (CO2)
Trees store CO2 – hundreds of pounds over their lifetime – decreasing the CO2 concentrations in the atmosphere that are largely at the core of climate change.

TREES OFFSET THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT OF DEVELOPMENT
Trees act as nature’s buffers. They act as natural flood control, improve entire regions, and decrease adverse effects from man-made environmental changes.

TREES ACT AS FLOOD CONTROL
As storms become more and more severe, cities and states are turning towards trees to minimize the damage. In some cases they may reduce the height of flooding as much as 20 percent.

TREES PROVIDE WATER FILTRATION
Speaking of flood control, one of the benefits of planting trees is that they can filter water. With 780 million people struggling to find clean water sources, trees are a step towards a brighter future.

POPULATION HEALTH BENEFITS
Trees prevent nearly $7 billion in health costs annually simply by filtering air pollution and preventing more adverse effects.

TREES HELP CONSERVE ENERGY
Trees naturally conserve energy. They are nature’s original air-conditioner and the presence of trees directly equates to cooler, more moist air.
